Working for us

We are looking for outstanding, passionate individuals who can help drive our vision to be the first choice for healthcare closer to home. If you would like to be a part of making a difference to our community then we look forward to hearing from you.

Based on feedback from our staff, we have been named among the Health Services Journal’s (HSJ) and Nursing Times’ top 100 ‘Great Places to Work’ and placed in the top 20 per cent of all community trusts for overall staff engagement in the 2014 NHS National Staff Survey.

Our dedicated teams supported us to achieve an overall ‘Good’ rating in our most recent Care Quality Commission (CQC) inspection in September 2014.

Our trust leadership has also passed a ‘Well Led’ review with the NHS Trust Development Authority. This means that the leadership, management and governance of the organisation ensure the delivery of sustainable, high quality, person-centred care, while supporting learning and innovation, and promoting an open and fair culture.

We are proud to have been recognised for our great work nationally. Recent successes include being finalists in the ‘best use of IT to support integrated healthcare services' category of the EHI Awards, the ‘staff engagement’ category of the Health Service Journal (HSJ) Value in Healthcare Awards and the ‘costing award’ category of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) Awards, to name a few.

We are also proud to support individual achievement, with our team boasting 31 Queen’s Nurses among its ranks.
