Library Services

Library and Knowledge Services are provided by ULHT to staff employed by LCHS working within the boundaries the boundaries of LCHS’s services in Lincolnshire.

The Library services provide information, literacy and information retrieval training. Critical Appraisal Training is offered in scheduled workshops. All other training is offered to groups or individuals on an on-demand basis to suit LCHS customer and service needs. Examples of courses on offer are:

• Literature Searching

• Searching Google more effectively

• Qualitative Critical Appraisal Techniques

• Quantitative Critical Appraisal Techniques

• Library Induction

The services shall be delivered within the Libraries on ULHT’s sites at the following hospitals:

• Lincoln County Hospital, Greetwell Road, Lincoln, LN2 8QY

• Pilgrim Hospital, Sibsey Road, Boston, PE21 9QS

• Grantham and District Hospital, Manthorpe Road, Grantham, NG31 8DG

• County Hospital Louth, High Holme Road, Louth, LN11 0EU

Days/ hours of operation

Libraries are open and staffed during traditional office hours (9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday – Friday) with the exception of Louth County Hospital. The opening hours at each Lincolnshire NHS Library are:
