Return to Practice
Health Education England (HEE) is committed to funding high quality Return to Practice education programmes across the East Midlands, which reflect the needs of healthcare employees, healthcare providers and patients.
If you were once a registered allied health professional (AHP) or know a friend or colleague but had a career break, then you may need to undertake a period of updating your skills and knowledge before you can return to work in the healthcare sector, including the NHS, private, voluntary and independent sector and become re-registered on the Health Care Professionals Council (HCPC) professional register. The term used to describe this is called Return to Practice (RtP).
